When Children Avoid School
February 9th, 2009 by admin
Starting school can present all kinds of new challenges even if the child has been going for a few years. There is always a transitional period that occurs. There could be several reason why some children may avoid going to school. There could be problems with classmates, or they may be afraid of failing. They may be bullied or not like their teacher. Make sure to talk with your child to get a better idea of what the issues are and be supportive. Give them reassurance that they can get through the day and to do their best to make it fun.
