Parents, Children and Divorce

One of the pitfalls of parents divorce is that they continue to communicate the same dysfunctional way they did when they were married. This often has a detrimental effect on the children because they become pawns in the problematic relationship between their parents. If parents work together on their post-divorce relationship the issues that arise with their children can be resolved in a positive way instead of a conflictual one.
