Parenting "Difficult" Children

You may have one of these kids that can be hard to handle, are very stubborn and want to do things their way. There are positive ways to "label" they’re behavior as to not discourage them and make them wrong for their temperament. Understanding those temperaments is key to being able to relate to your child. Sometimes they may throw tantrums as a means to get what they want, be firm and not give in. Sometimes kids can get overstimulated and not know how to handle it, be sensitive to them in this case. Instead of using negative words to describe them, try alternatives like energetic instead of wile, or cautious instead of anxious. By learning and understanding what to expect you can both relate with each there better.
