Parenting: The Challenge

If you have a toddler between the ages of 12-24 months and they are not talking yet, don’t stress it. Here are things to look for if you are really worried about your child not talking. They understand what you are saying to them and sometimes they will respond. They will “talk” to you and “ask” for things and use hand gestures. Some kids may grunt while playing or “talking” as well. If your child displays any of these behaviors they are well on their way to becoming a regular chatterbox. If none of these apply to your little one, you might want to look into it. Talk to your pediatrician to see if they can give you some insight.
