Grandparents Can Offer Perspective in Raising Teens

When grandparents are not responsible for the upbringing of their grandchildren, they can be less judgmental and more accepting of the changing phases of childhood. They can also remind their children, of how they were as teens and level the playing field. Gentle reminders of “this to shall pass”, can help parents get through those problem behaviors that seem to last forever.
