Parenting: The Challenge

Helping your child learn is so important and you can make it fun! Teach them body parts by pointing to yours then their and saying it’s name. Start with their nose, ear, eyes and mouth.  Help them learn their shapes and colors by sorting them into their respective groups and repeating their shape and color. Around 16 months on toddlers want to "help", you can encourage this behavior by saying "thank you" when they want to feed you or throw something in the garbage. If you have musical instruments let them try them out and show them how they work. Support them in their learning endeavors and they will love to learn new things.
